Were I in Texas I would be tempted to say "Boy howdy I'm plum tuckered out!". Being as how I am north of the Mason/Dixie I will say "Damn! I'm tired!"

Just pulled Myself out of the lake after swimming 2,000 meters without stopping. Woot! Now someone carry Me to bed.

Life has been pretty swell for the past few days. The drama that invoked the almighty Etch-A-Sketch was a particular bit of stupidity. Thankfully not any of My or Mine's stupidity, but rather others. Thankfully they realised how innane they were being and corrected the situation. And life continues on. Since then I have been celebrating our close shave with destiny.

Woke up yesterday with the urge to deep clean My bedroom. So out went the bed, out went the drawers and dressers, out went the nightstands. And cleaning ensued. Afterward I thought I deserved a treat so I took My husband out to the movies. We saw Predators last night. I enjoyed it a lot. I am a fan of the Predator franchise (except that god awful AVPR). I even find the Predators a little sexy, so I am not sure what that says about Me. Regardless I enjoyed the flick for what it was. Nothing deep. Lots of "stalking" and death. Yes there were plot holes you could fit a Predator wildlife preserve in, but that is ok. It's not meant to be deep. As with any movie that had a comic book, after the flick My husband and I spent the ride home discussing the story. I came to the conclusion that the Predators in this flick were the rednecks of the Predator species. That made Me smile.

Today I took My kid to see Shrek the Whatever. I won't say it's horrible but I won't say it's good. I've seen worse, let's leave it at that.

Then I headed to the lake for the afore mentioned 2,000 meters. Woot.

Now food and sleep. Life is good.

im glad the world is once again spinning as it should and your etch-a-sketch is back to normal. i was worried after you told me the situation. you know, as i kid I stepped on an etch-a-sketch in bare feet and it shattered into a million pieces in my foot, leaving me to pick out the pieces in my basement sink, terrified my mom would find out. not sure what that means if an etch-a-sketch is allegory for life.

i love you and it sounds like you had a fantastic weekend!

EEK!! That made my foot hurt just hearing about it! I was going to try some insight into the imagery but my allegorical meter went off the charts. :)

I love you too! I miss your big hugs!
