Beautiful lake time.

Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.

That is what I have been doing lately. I’ve been quite the little Dory. And at times just as flighty.

I have been spending at least 2 hours every day at the lake having the best time. Last year the lake was too cold to swim just about the entire summer. I think we went 3 times. It was so bad that I wasn’t sure that we would get a membership this year. But then then 95 degree days rolled in and I decided that as a matter of self preservation we needed the membership. And boy am I glad I got it.

This summer the lake has been beautiful. Perfectly warm water every time we have gone. Hours and hours spent floating and swimming happily. It has been grand.

The one drawback is that I have lost My creamy white skin. In it’s place is tan, golden skin. Eek. Not My look and not what I like. But no matter how much sun screen I slather on I just keep getting more and more golden. It will take Me well into the Feb before I will be able to reclaim the whiteness of My skin. Small price to pay for a summer worth of happiness.
