So for most of the nation this coming Sunday means Superbowl and not a day of recovery after Winter Wickedness. Their loss. Now football doesn't mean squat to Me but I do love a good commerical. And I can't wait to see this year's offering. In the mean time here are a few of my favorites.
For My best friend in the whole wide world!
for the love of My life, My husband!
for the beautiful Sarah!
I almost pissed myself watching this!
A pretty funny Pepsi commercial.
My absolute favorite of all time!
A few oldies but goodies!

New Year, New Me!
Tomorrow will mark the 1 month point of my change of perspective so I thought I would take a moment to reflect.
As I have posted previously I decided to work a bit on my body. Not because I want to lose weight or diet my ass off, but because I want to improve my overall health. And hey, if I drop a few pounds along the way, great. But I refuse to diet. I am simply eating better and exercising daily.
So I am approaching the 1 month mark and I am still feeling nothing but positive about the change in my life. I have eliminated a lot of snacking which is nothing but good. I have changed my eating habits to include fresh vegetables and/or fruit with every meal, cutting down on the fatty bad foods. This part has been rather easy. I like a wide variety of meals and honestly for the past few years I have been rather redundant in my meal choices. So it is really nice to expand into some of the meals that have fallen by the wayside.
The flip side of this new Me is exercise. Now believe it or not I do exercise but mostly it is during the summer. During the summer I swim every day and walk a mile every other. Since I don't weight myself I don't know how much weight I lose but I know that I usu sally drop 4 clothes sizes. Unfortunately come winter I put it all back on though. Couple that with quitting smoking and the weight just kind of sticks around. Ugh. But I am changing that. Since Jan 1 I have been doing a daily Yoga routine. Now before you begin laughing at yoga, I challenge you to give it a shot. An hour long yoga workout can kick your ass. After the 2nd week of my basic workout I decided I wanted more and switched to a weight loss yoga workout. This annihilated me. Seriously wrecked me the first few times. I sweated like a bitch. In fact I was pretty sure I couldn't continue doing it. But I did. and now the routine is much easier. I still sweat my ass off but the routine is MUCH easier to get through.
Today when I finished my routine I took my shower as usual. When I got out I clocked myself in the mirror and was surprised to see that I could actually see where some of my weight has begun to come off. This was an unexpected happiness for Me. It felt really good to be able to point to something specifically and say, LOOK! It's working!
So in any case I am proud of Me. Now onto the next month! February HO!

New Year!
What better way to get ready for the New Year than by reflecting on the past one.

My animals learned to coexist. Well... they no longer frighten the villagers.

My car went crunch.

My sub was deployed overseas.

I spent time with the people I love!

I visited the old stomping ground and took some virgins along with Me.

I went to Chicago and saw more people I love!

My husband discovered his super hero identity. I got him a utility belt for Christmas.

We went to New York and saw those guys I love so much!

The country continues to get its' news from Fox News.

and I had a wonderful New Years with My husband.
My love to you all and My wishes for a prosperous New Year!

Mistress at the Movies: The Union
The Union, The Business of Getting High
I can't tell you how much I love this movie. If you know me at all you know I am a big fan of herbal remedies. This movie is an honest look at the history of cannibas prohibition and the reasons it continues. It was shocking at times, even for someone like Me who tries to stay up to date on the politics of weed.
I would recommend this movie to anyone. You don't have to be a stoner to appreciate it. Really.

A general update
It's been a good long while but I am back baby! Woohoo!!
Wht kept me from you? Well that little thing called illness. Last week I had to rush my daughter to the emergency room with a fever that would not be tamed. That was when we learned just how good she really is. She managed to get a rather severe flu, but also strep throat and mono. Go girl! But thankfully after a huge amount of antibitoics she was just fine. Of course immediatly following her recovery my husband was taken down by the flu. As soon as I nursed him back to health I, of course, sucumbed. Which could not have been worse timing for me as 2 of my mostest favoritest peoples in the whole wide world came into town last weekend. What's a girl to do? I cowboyed up. We hit Dave and Busters for some good fun followed by a trip to Something Special (an awesome rock and mineral store in Westerville) and then capped it off with some conversation over coffee. Later that night My husband and I headed to the Perversion Diversion. it was his first time but he had a blast. Faye even gave him a much needed lesson in humility when it comes to playing pool. Much fun was had by all.
What else has been going on? Well I have started eating healthier. I am NOT dieting though. I don't believe in dieting (the first 3 letters alone is a deterent) but I can get on board with eating healthier. So that is what I opted for. Since Jan 1 my husband and I have also been doing a Yoga workout every day (EVEN WHEN WE WERE SICK!). I never thought I would do Yoga but after spending some time doing it I can see that most of my Tae Kwon Do warmups were actually Yoga postures. Today we amped it up to a more intense Yoga workout which kicked my ass. I am not sure I can do it everyday but I will be incorperating it in every other day. I have always been incredably flexible but over the years that rage has slowly been decresing. So it feels good to be heading back down the right path. I love working up a sweat but it is always hard for me to find something I can do on a continual basis oweing to my ankle. I am happy to say that yoga is something I can do without doing damage to my ankle. WOHOO!!!
I hung out with Barak and Chill Wed when I went down to help prepare for Winter Wickedness which is right around the corner. I can't believe how quickly it is approaching! I have a couple of great scenes planned. Fire, Fisting and Fun! Oh My! My only regret is that My sub is still overseas. After several months of concideration last Winter Wickedness I collared My sub. So this year will be the 1 year anniversary of his collar and service to Me. I wish he could be there. Especially since we will be having a dedicated Ceremonial Space at WW this year. It would be nice to mark the occasion. I might still in my own way. You will hear all about it in my Winter Wickedness Report.
It looks like we might be able to fly to Disney World this June! YA!!!!!!
And last but not least, my father was offered a job today! Congrats dad!
Ok that's enough. Love you!

I'm a Candy Cane!!!!
So it's not the best pic but I actually managed to have a few moments of Christmas alone with the hubby. We were downstairs letting out the dog. On a whim I decided to start a game of "Got your cock." It's like "Got your nose" but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more fun. In any case, when he was good and distracted I reached over, grabbed his package and yelled GOT YOUR COCK!!!! then ran upstairs. Knowing it would take him a few minutes to finish up with the dog I brought forth my inner ninja, changing clothes like a...well ninja. Old clothes flying and new ones put. I ended up putting on My red and white striped knee high socks, my matching red and white striped boyshorts, a white low cut bra and a tight red wife beater (which he thinks are hot as all hell. Hey, we all have a little trailer in us) then waited for him to come up and find where I had hidden his cock.
Fun was had. Oh yes.
Here is a bad pic of what awaited him, from My end.

I hope everyone had a great Holiday season! Aside from being disgustingly sick (ugh) I had a very nice time. Surprises were had all around and much family time was spent. Although I will admit that I really like the lead up to Christmas more than I like the actual day. This year my daughter and I made from scratch accordion style picture albums. It took us the better part of 2 weeks to get them all done but we did. And that is a way better gift to me than anything she could buy. Spending 2 weeks laughing at the tape all over the place. I try to teach her that that is the meaning of the season.
In any case here are some highlights from my home this Christmas season.

one of 3 sword fights that broke out around the holidays.

My kid got creative with her old blocks and sends Me some Christmas love.

My kid and I taking a horse drawn carriage ride.

Santa's reindeer!

Sub report

I got an email from My sub yesterday. He sent Me his Christmas greetings and wishes for a Happy New Year. He also brought to My attention that he was recently injured in the line of duty. he took shrapnel from a mortar but says he is doing well. If you have any extra vibes/prayers/thoughts of the good variety then I would appreciate them being sent his way.
Other than being injured he is in good spirits. In fact he sent Me an assignment he was not able to complete while he was stateside. An in depth look at O/our D/s such as it is, seperated by an ocean. here is an exert:
"i should start by saying what a wonderful Mistress You are and how lucky i am to serve You. i am very grateful to have a Mistress as knowledgable in the ways of training Her sub as You are. You are kind when You need to be and very good at letting Your sub know when i have upset you by not doing as i should (i remember Winter Wickedness well) Serving You is always a pleasure for me in this D/s. As always i hope to please You in any way you desire and as always, look forward to serving You when i return. i hope to show you what a good sub i can be, if you would allow it of course. This has been a hard long distance D/s and i want to be able to make it up to You when i return in whatever way You would deem necessary."
After all the shit I have been mucking through looking for someone in the meantime it is nice to be reminded of what a good sub is.
